NCERT takes care of the subjective matter prescribed to CBSE affiliated schools. This also includes setting of the board exam question papers and setting the syllabus. CBSE acts as a convener of all organizational matters such as organizing board exams, NEET, JEE Mains and other educational events. While NCERT is focused on subject content matter, CBSE acts as the organizational arm.
