The Apple × Galgotias initiative is centred around the university’s iOS Development Centre, powered by Apple and Infosys, where students get hands-on exposure to Swift, app development, mentorship and Apple’s development tools. The biggest benefit is that students can turn classroom ideas into real apps, build portfolios and develop practical skills in coding, design and problem-solving. The results are visible too—18 Galgotias students won Apple’s Swift Student Challenge 2026.
