IB or International Baccalaureate is an education board based in Switzerland. Unlike other boards such as CBSE and ICSE which have a prescribed syllabus and textbooks, IB has no subjective roots. It is much more focused on practical training and concepts than CBSE and ICSE which are much more subjective in nature. Coming to whether it is better than CBSE, IB's acceptability amongst colleges in India is lower compared to CBSE which has mass appeal.
