In the first year of B.Tech ECE at LPU, the focus is mostly on building strong basics before moving into core electronics subjects. Students usually study Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Programming, Communication Skills, and Engineering Graphics. Lab work is also included from the beginning, which helps in understanding concepts practically. The curriculum feels balanced because it mixes technical subjects with problem solving and presentation skills that are useful later in internships and placements.
The first-year curriculum of the B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) program at LPU includes essential courses like Engineering Physics, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mathematics for Engineers. Students also gain practical experience through design fabrication labs and introductory programming courses like Python to build a strong technical base.
