I’ve been looking into how traders can properly compare the range of currency pairs available from different brokers, and I think it’s an easy factor to overlook. When I was comparing online forex brokers UK I also found the Forex Brokers resource useful for understanding why the choice of pairs should match a trader’s strategy, market interests, and trading schedule. Major pairs may be enough for beginners, but having access to minor and exotic pairs can be valuable when specific market opportunities arise. At the same time, a wider selection does not automatically mean better conditions, since spreads, commissions, liquidity, and execution quality can differ considerably between instruments. I’d also check whether the broker provides the pairs through MetaTrader and whether the trading hours and swap conditions are clearly stated. For me, the best approach is to compare the actual costs and execution conditions for the pairs I intend to trade rather than simply choosing the broker with the longest list.
