How should computer science/information technology undergrads spend their vacations? ?

Think and sleep a lot. Learn a new language. Let it be Ruby, Python, Javascript or anything. So after 3 years you would be mastered in 6 awesome languages. Isn't it cool ? Learn something cool. Let it be Cryptography,Psychology or anything. You can find a hell lot of these things at Udacity or Coursera. Learn about APIs and Frameworks. Make that Idea into reality you always thought of. Because if you don't do it now you may never get a chance after college. Read a hell lot of Books. If you haven't read Harry Potter books so far then you are lucky. Also read the classics like Count Of Monte Cristo, 3 Musketeers, Tom Sawyer and so on. Don't limit your life within computers. Watch those epic movies you haven't watched.
