According to the official user guide at https://manuals.online/scotsman, there are a few key steps: First, ensure you don’t block the front grille—air must circulate freely. Let the unit run overnight before loading it with your items, and avoid using extension cords or placing it behind closed doors, which may affect its performance and safety. Make sure the area remains dry and accessible. After this initial set?up, you’re good to go!
Hi everyone! I'm a bit puzzled about how to get the best performance from this under?counter cooler I just installed. It’s built?in and doesn’t need extra side or top clearance, but I’m concerned about airflow—especially around the front vents. Also, I’m not completely sure when to start loading items after plugging it in, and how long I should wait. Has anyone tried this model yet? What steps make sure it works effectively right from the start?
