The admission process of IMI Kolkata. Short Listing Criteria Candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2019 examination or furnished valid GMAT/XAT score and have applied to IMI Kolkata will be shortlisted on the basis of information provided in the application form, CAT scores (sectional and overall) or GMAT/XAT score, educational background, marks in Class X and XII, graduation and work experience. Students will be informed on the shortlist decision through email to their registered email id. Selection Process IMI Kolkata will conduct the WAT-PI process for shortlisted candidates for its final selection process. Written Ability Test (WAT): IMI Kolkata conducts WAT to evaluate the written capabilities of prospective students. WAT aims to evaluate Articulation and Technical (Grammar and Spelling) of the applicant. Personal Interview: After the WAT, the candidate will have a personal interview of approximately 15 minutes, IMI Kolkata’s objective for conducting a personal interview is to understand the applicant’s attitude towards management education. Candidates With work experience will be additionally evaluated on the relevance of their work experience in relation to the PGDM programme.
