Velammal Engineering College (VEC) is a private institution established in 1995 by Velammal Educational Trust. The trust was founded in 1986 with only 13 faculty members & 183 students.

Hostel VEC has enabled separate accommodations for girls and boys. The hostel can house 300 girls & 600 boys. One room can accommodate 2 students Single room facility is given to the PG & final years Students. Mess facility is also provided with dining hall and hygienic food is served. |
