Ranchi University provides so many facilities to their students. There are two hostels available in the university. The central library of this University is well organized. There are good teaching faculty. The University has an independent Training & placement Cell devoted to cater the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements.

What is the basic B.Tech's admission criteria ?

10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is the basic requirement to take admission in B.Tech Civil Engineering program. Percentage required in qualifying exam is 50% for most of the engineering institutes. However required percentage criteria depend on college. Diploma holders in the mechanical or allied stream are also eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their diploma after10th. In some cases candidates having bachelor degree in science are also eligible.
