Why are placements at the new IIMs such as IIM Trichy poor ?

I don't know which rock you're living under, but IIM Trichy recorded a great placement season, more so than ever last year. 104 students were offered 104 positions by 102 recruiters. The median package was 13.28 LPA and the highest CTC last year was 33 LPA. Kindly ask questions after verifying all the necessary facts.
