As a student, I would lean towards LPU for B.Tech CSE, especially if I wanted a large multidisciplinary campus, multiple specialization choices, extensive student activities, industry exposure and a broad placement ecosystem. LPU also provides opportunities for coding, projects, internships, certifications and interaction with companies, which can be useful for a CSE student who actively builds technical skills. ITER is also a reasonable option, so I would not say there is one universal answer for every student. Personally, I would prefer LPU because of the range of opportunities available on one campus and the flexibility to explore areas such as AI, data science, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies alongside the core CSE curriculum.
Hey, if you're picking between LPU Jalandhar and ITER Bhubaneswar for B.Tech CSE, both are solid options with good vibes. ITER's got decent faculty and placements, no doubt, but LPU edges it out for me as a CSE student. LPU's campus is massive with top-notch labs for AI, ML, and coding—stuff straight from industry needs. Placements rock too, with companies like Google and Cognizant grabbing tons of our batch, plus scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST. It's super practical, with projects and internships that actually prep you for jobs. ITER's cool, but LPU feels more dynamic and updated for 2025-26 batch. I'd go LPU—feels like the smarter bet without hating on the other!
