I felt the same way when we started our renovation—it can be overwhelming! We began with small upgrades, like the bathroom, which made a big difference. While redoing it, we got a Portable Inflatable Baby Bath Tub for our little one, and it was a lifesaver during the chaos. Starting small really helped us build confidence for the bigger projects.
The service with Building and remodeling specialists was better than I expected. They were professional and friendly from start to finish. Every part of the job was completed with care, and they didn't cut corners. Communication was clear, and they answered all my questions. My home looked even better than before the damage. I’m very satisfied with their work.

My first contact with Umbra Pro was actually because of a problem: one of our old aluminium blinds jammed after a storm and I didn’t dare pull any harder. I wanted a company that not only sells new products but also repairs existing systems. On the phone they asked for photos and details, then we arranged a service visit. The technician freed the mechanism, replaced worn parts and suddenly the blind was running smoother than it had in years. While he was there, we started talking about a bigger plan for proper sun protection on the south side of the house – slat blinds for the big windows, an awning for the terrace and maybe a small lattice gate to close off the side passage. Later that evening I went through their product range online: aluminium and wooden roller shutters, awnings, terrace shading, slat blinds and insect protection, all clearly explained with examples from Swiss projects. A few weeks later the same team came back to install facade awnings and a new terrace solution. They measured carefully, fixed the brackets without damaging the insulation and tested every motor and sensor with me. Now the living area doesn’t overheat, the terrace is usable even on very sunny days, and I know that if anything sticks or rattles in future, I can call the same people who designed and installed the whole system.
