LPU uses several water-conservation methods to reduce overall consumption and promote sustainability. The university has rainwater harvesting systems that collect and store rainwater for reuse in gardening and landscaping. Drip and sprinkler irrigation techniques are used on lawns to minimize water wastage. Water-efficient fixtures such as low-flow taps and sensors are installed in many buildings to control usage. Recycled and treated wastewater is used for horticulture and cleaning purposes. Regular maintenance of pipelines helps prevent leakage and water loss. Awareness campaigns encourage students and staff to use water responsibly, supporting a culture of conservation across the campus.
