The first time I tried hiring someone online, I thought I had done everything right good portfolio, fast replies, clear pricing, I was pretty confident it would go smoothly, but once the work started, small misunderstandings kept appearing and slowed everything down more than I expected, nothing was a total failure, but it showed me that skills alone don’t guarantee a good working experience, I realized I never really checked how the person thinks, how they ask questions, or how they handle unclear instructions, after that, I started paying more attention to communication in the very first conversations instead of focusing only on past work.
