What is VIT ?

The state-of-the-art facilities are not only an eye-opener but excite the envy of other institutions. The faculty of LPU are experts in their field with much research under their hat. The mentoring and exposure given to students for their holistic development consider it to be an asset they are carrying from LPU along with their degrees for a lifetime. All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Coming to infrastructure, the 1200 acre campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centres for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and a network to produce any title anytime! and this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centres, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. Recently, an LPU student Hare Krishna of B Tech CSE got placed in Google with 64 LPA this year. Scholarships: LPU offers more than 250+ programmes every year in different fields. LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility.
