At LPU, the policy on hostel food varies. While some students find it convenient to dine in, others prefer exploring off-campus options. It's not compulsory to eat in the hostel, allowing students the freedom to choose. Yeah, that’s true! At LPU, hostel food is available but it’s not mandatory. Many students enjoy the freedom to eat outside and try different food places. If you're someone who loves checking out new dishes or restaurant options, it's always good to know the menu price before you go. I usually use menu price to check the latest prices and menus of popular restaurants in the Philippines. It really helps with budgeting and planning meals outside the campus!

Hi there, you can opt for hostel accommodation without mess facility. However, I would say that LPUs hostel mess take care of nutrition and hygiene. The LPU administration interferes at all levels and is involved at all levels to ensure good food to the students. Also LPU ensures variety - LPU provides mess to the students for ten months as two months of a year are excluded due to summer vacations. Students can avail the mess plan two days prior to the start of academic session and will be required to leave it within two days after regular exams. For availing Mess Plan after the end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/ reappear examination/ make up examination/ PEP/ EEP classes etc, additional proportionate Charges for mess and its administration will have to be paid by the student, subject to the availability and permission for mess plan. Students have an option to avail Mess Plan from the University or may manage on their own. Mess Plan may be offered in 3 different categories i.e. Standard Mess, Basic Mess and Ala Carte. Standard and Basic plan includes options of North Indian/ South Indian/ Rajasthani/ Haryanvi/ Gujarati/ Eastern/ North-Eastern Cuisines. North Indian and South Indian cuisines can be opted in the same hostel mess or at centralised locations. Regional cuisine is available at specific locations only. Basic Mess Plan offers a limited Quantity of food and items. Ala Carte - Choice of Dishes plan includes the option to take any available dish from any cuisine. For example, at lunch, students may pick a few dishes from the available North Indian menu and a few from the available South Indian menu and a few from some other cuisine. In dinner, students may opt differently as per his/her choice. This Mess Type will be served at selected locations that may be outside the allotted hostel.
