Dear aspirant, by qualifying LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) you will fulfil one of the eligibility conditions required to take admission to LPU. There are certain courses in which you can take direct admission on the basis of score in the previous qualification. But to avail scholarship, your LPUNEST score must be more than the cutoff at that time. LPUNEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, and marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cutoff of last year. The cutoff is divided into three categories and the shortlisted candidates receive the scholarship based on their marks/cut-off category. The aim of conducting LPUNEST is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. LPUNEST is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes.
