The Common Admission Test is a computer based test for admission in graduate management programs. The test consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability LPU accepts the score of CAT to get admission into MBA. LPU Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam): Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT^ and Interview Note: If Candidate has: 80 Percentile or above in CAT or MAT or XAT Or All India Rank upto 20000 in CMAT Or 230 and above score in NMAT then LPUNEST is exempted.

IIT Delhi's management school, DMS, offers admission to candidates based upon performance in CAT exam. The average cutoff for DMS comes out to be around 96% every year
