What happen if any ragging take place inside the campus of quantum university? ?

Concerns regarding violence in campuses are at an all time high these days. There are also few ex-military men and women working in this force. The university has also installed more than 4000 CCTV cameras all across the campus which are monitored round the clock. The footage are recorded and stored for future reference if needed. This constant surveillance system that is present here helps regulate and avoid any form of indiscipline. The security personnel are trained and updated regularly. LPU gives a Radio Frequency ID to the faculties driving to work. There are boom barriers that allow vehicles to enter and leave the campus. Those with the RFID can just flash the card to open the boom bars. The rest of the vehicles are allowed to pass only after proper verification and a separate pass is generated for them. This helps to reduce the security issues a lot. The university pays attention to minute details of safety issues. Speed breakers present on the street within the campus also keep a check on the speed of the vehicles plying on the road. Over speeding vehicles are fined to make the roads within LPU safe for everyone. LPU has its own fire station with fire engines and well trained fire men. There are fire extinguishing equipment installed in every floor of every building within the campus as per the guidelines provided by the fire department. LPU is a drug free campus. The institution is absolutely intolerant towards this. To maintain a favorable and healthy atmosphere for the students the university takes strict action against those who indulge in such abusive products. Ragging is strictly prohibited in LPU and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging,whether actively or passively, or being a part of a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be proceeded against in accordance with UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions and under the provisions of any penal law or any other law, university ordinances/ rules etc. for the time being in force and such action would include but is not limited to debarment or explulsion of such student. In view of the UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions, strict measures have been taken by LPU to avoid ragging. Anti ragging committees have been constituted and the contact numbers are provided at the LPU website. Apart from Helpline number, the students may also contact the university officials . 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras. One or more of the these punishments depending on the nature and the gravity of the guilt established, may be awarded to the student found guilty of ragging, namely suspension from attending classes and academic privileges, Withholding/ withdrawing scholarship/ fellowship and other benefits, Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation process, Withholding results, Debarring form representing the university in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival etc,. Suspension/ Expulsion from the hostel, Cancellation of admission, Rustication from the university for period ranging from one to four semesters, Expulsion from the university and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specified period: provided that where the persons committing or abetting the act of ragging are not identified, the university may resort to collective punishment. It is the most secured campus in the world. 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules.It is against the university policy.A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. From the day first to till the end day in the University. I never find such kind of activity inside the campus. The rules and regulations are very tough in the campus. If someone found doing any kind misbehave inside the campus,strict action is taken by the management against the person. Following are the security measures undertaken by the university for the safety of the students: 1) There are 7400+ CCTV surveillance on a 24X7 basis from every corner. 2) 400+ Security Officials are there. LPU security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. 3) Drug Free Campus (Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol.
