Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and comprises more than 20 schools offering diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and, doctoral programmes in 200+ recognized disciplines engineering, management, pharmacy, social science, hotel management, all in one campus having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. With a campus of 900 acres, LPU is a multi-faculty institution and houses over 30,000 students including students from all over India and around 3500+ foreign students from 50+ countries. LPU provides separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. LPU's residential facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are excellent in all terms. LPU residential facilities are considered one the largest in India. There are 17 multi storeyed Hostels including Apartments with different types of rooms like dormitory, two seater, single seater, ac, non ac, etc. Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. In the LPU, there are 17 multi-story hostels, including luxury apartments. Each hostel has its own entrance and exit, as well as a mess, a tuck shop, and dedicated wardens and maintenance staff. In addition to all the amenities in the LPU Hostels, there are a few rules and regulations for reasons of safety and security. One of the biggest residential services in India is LPU. LPU also has a non-veg mess ( third party vendor) so you can opt for the plans accordingly. If on some days you don't feel like having a meal in mess then you can go to UNIMALL which has CCD, Dominos or you can order on phone and they will deliver at your hostel.

Students do not need to pass the gates of LPU for any essentials, you just name the thing and it is available inside the LPU campus only. Safety Concerns : The whole campus means every nook is Covered with CCTV cameras. Outsiders are not allowed to enter the University campus without a GATE pass. In fact, the staff who does not have RFIDs of their conveyance are not allowed to enter without the GATE pass. Girls are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents are taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specific hostels in the particular time duration of 7 pm, and they cannot escape from hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till 9 pm maximum. Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs of time and will be accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are handled by the women security guards only. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. You name it and you have it. Food: From ala carte to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani, and many other regional messes. At lunch, Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati, and Raita are served. In dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts are served. Rooms: LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per month. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box Bed, Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. Safety : The security of the students is not compromised inside the residential facilities of LPU. The hostels are state of the art. Huge army of security personnel has been deployed all over the campus who keep a round-the-clock vigil. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl's hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.
