Hi I don't have any idea about the courses offered at this institute. LPU conducts a national level entrance test LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). LPUNEST is considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. The aim of conducting the test is to check how far the concepts are clear to the student. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to qualify LPUNEST or some other national level test, for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria. LPU strictly follows the standards set by the UGC. ON the basis of UGC guidelines, LPU has drawn its academic policy and set other criteria as well. Since you have not mentioned which program you are interested in, I will give you a brief overview of the main programs offered at UG level. The eligibility for B Tech, and hons programs such as BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for MBA is 55 percent, B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline. LPU conducts LPUNEST for admission in MBA, Hons, BPT, MLT, B Tech programs etc.
