How were SRM University placements last year, 2017 ?

They were decent, but anyone looking at placement statistics at private universities like SRM and VIT will know that a downturn is soon coming. The slow ebbing of the IT sector is starting to hurt campus recruitment, especially at private universities where the IT sector was the mass recruiter. My advice would be to not over analyze past placement records as a sea change is expected in the coming years
