Northwind Traders is a mid-sized wholesale company with about 60 employees. For years, they used Google Workspace: Gmail for emails, Drive for files, and Meet for calls. It worked fine until they were small organizations, but as they grew, things started getting messy, and they required better collaboration with each team. Their finance team preferred Excel, the sales team wanted better integration with Outlook, and management needed stronger security controls. Keeping this in mind, they decided to move Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. Before implementing the migration process, they make a plan to migrate the data. First, they reviewed all user accounts and removed outdated data to avoid migrating unnecessary files. After that, they set up the Microsoft 365 (account creation, licenses assigned, and domain configuration. For the actual migration, they used the Shoviv G Suite to Office 365 Migration Tool by Shoviv Software. It helped them: Migrate emails from Gmail to Outlook Transfer Google Drive data to OneDrive and SharePoint Move contacts and calendars efficiently The tool made bulk migration easier and ensured data integrity without much manual effort.
