No, it doesn't you have to just pass the JEE mains with good marks to take part in counseling where you can select NIT jalandhar as your preference with your branch in which u want to seek admission. After some rounds for counseling u will be alloted a college. Now u have to verify documents in any NIT which is near you and then just wait for admission date.
