Armed Forces Medical College, Pune This renowned medical institute is known as centre of excellence for medical education and research. It was established on May 1, 1948, by an act of Parliament on recommendations of BC Roy Committee. The ‘graduate wing’ of AFMCC, Pune, was set up on August 4, 1962,to have ceaseless flow of medical practitioners in Indian Armed Forces.
