About College
KGiSl Institute of Technology (KITE) is private engineering institute founded by Padmashri Dr. G.Bakthavatsalam, MS, FICS, FCCP, FAMS, FMMC in the year 2008.
- It is affiliated to Anna University and courses are approved by AICTE
- The main objective of the institute is to provide industry embedded education and to mold the students for leadership in industry, government, and educational institutions
- College offers 5 undergraduate and 2 post graduate courses

- Library: Library has over 8000+ reference and textbooks. It has fully computerized automation and separate reading hall. It also subscribes to 70+ national and international journals.
- Classrooms: Classrooms are fully modernized and equipped with Wifi and LCD projectors.
- Computing Facilities: An Extra ordinary computing facility for the students with about 1000 computers connected to the centralized servers. Every workplace on the campus, including faculty rooms, offices, student residence rooms, computer labs, library and administrative offices, has network connectivity with separate log in IDs.
- Hostel: College has separate hostels for both boys and girls. Hostel have LAN facilities, sports, mess and other facilities.
Festivals:
- ARISTA 2K14: It is techno cultural festival organized by department of IT.
- Stacs 2K14: It is a national level symposium organized by department of Computer Science
- Samvit-lakshya 2k13: It is technical fest organized by students of electronics and communication engineering.
