Bharathiyar Institute of Engineering for Women (BIEW), Salem was established in 2008 under Sri Sakthi Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

  • It is located in the midst of greenery fields along the Salem-Chennai National Highway (NH 79) in an educationally conducive environment.

Computer Lab

The institute has a state of the art computer lab which is well equipped with latest software and configuration.

The library spread over an area of 750 sq. mtrs. and has a collection of 4228 titles and 10500 volumes of books. It subscribes to 43 magazines, 39 international and 53 national journals.

Hostel

Available for girls student only.

 

Events:

  • TechExpo - To encourage the students, the Institute conducts a 3 days National Level Technical Exhibition to Inter/Intra engineering/arts/school/polytechnic students every year during 14th -16th, February.
