About College
Galgotias University is a privately owned co-ed university that acquired the status of the university by the Uttar Pradesh Government in 2011. It is approved by UGC and AICTE, New Delhi. The campus of the university is on 52 acres of land near Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. For various undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the university has over 15, 000 students enrolled. In the 2015 Dataquest-CMR Survey, Galgotias was ranked 8th under the All India T-school ranking category. It was also awarded the Excellence in Education by Hindustan Times in 2013.

Scholarships:
On Admission Merit Scholarship -
The University shall offer scholarships to the meritorious candidates based on her/his academic performance in qualifying examinations prescribed by the University, viz 10+2 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/ Aptitude Test and candidates possessing exemplary skills in sports, performing arts or literary skills.
Amount of Scholarship-
- 100% tuition fee waivers to the toppers (1st Rank Holder) of all the Board/University
- 50% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 4000th rank in the IIT/JEE Examination
- 50% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 100th rank in the AIEEE Examination
- 50% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 100th rank in the UPSEE Examination
- 25% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students securing 93% aggregate/PCM and above in class 12 or 80% marks in graduation
- 20% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 5000th rank in AIEEE Examination or students scoring at least 70% tile in CAT or above 700 marks in MAT
- 50% tuition fee waiver as scholarship for students having secured gold medal or silver medal at the national level/state level in sports or have some exemplary achievements to their credit in the area of performing arts
Merit Scholarship - During a program:
- In order to encourage the students to achieve higher performance during their studies in an academic program, the University will institute Merit scholarships for them in recognition of their academic achievements in the concerned programs of study
- These scholarships will be awarded every year from the second year onwards after the declaration of the results for a period of one year

Galgotias University aur Galgotias College dono me B.Tech ke liye generally 12th me Physics aur Maths hona zaroori hai. Eligibility criteria time ke saath change ho sakta hai, lekin usually 50-60% marks required hote hain. Eligibility Criteria (as per govt. norms) for B.Tech Program candidate must be Passed XII or equivalent with minimum 45% marks in PCM. Merit in Qualifying exam, IITJEE, AIEEE, UPSEE etc, preferable.
